They've made it easier to remove friends. Your history of listened songs has also been increased. The best part though is the Zune Gadgets page, which holds a lot of potential.
Microsoft has positioned the Zune as a highly customizable MP3 player. Where buying the iPod represents becoming a part of a culture, buying Zune represents expressing yourself.
There are many ways to customize the Zune, you can get a custom engraving, you can change the Zune's desktop background, the Podcasting aspect of the Zune is more emphasized, you can get Zune Skinz, its available in more colors than iPod, etc etc.
